Planting out Spinach ‘Reddy’
I sowed these seeds in an egg box and have found the process of planting them out so simple because of this. The cardboard was very easy to handle and each plant was easily separable as the card can be torn.
I prepared the soil until it was light andy crumbly and measured the final locations using bamboo. I am hoping to grow large leaves so I have planted the spinach in rows of approximately 45 cm apart and with 30cm between each plant.
I have made small soil warming squares in hope that this will aid the growth of my seedlings.
